Payment Terms
Payment terms are as stated on the invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Quoted prices are based on the information provided at the time of booking. Additional areas, extra services, heavy soiling, pet contamination, difficult access, furniture movement, or work outside the agreed scope may incur additional charges.
Cleaning Results
While every care is taken during the cleaning process, Hot Vapour Cleaning is not responsible for pre-existing damage, permanent stains, colour fading, shrinkage, wear and tear, odours, or issues resulting from the age, condition, previous treatments, maintenance history, or suitability of carpets, upholstery, mattresses, vinyl flooring, tiles, grout, windows, vehicles, furniture, materials and surfaces.
Cleaning results may vary depending on the age, condition, fibre or material type, level of soiling, staining, previous cleaning attempts, chemical residues, sun damage, pet contamination, wear and tear, and the general condition of the surface being treated.
While we use professional equipment and cleaning methods, we cannot guarantee that all stains, marks, odours or discolouration can be completely removed.
Drying Times and Wet Areas
Typical drying time for carpet and upholstery steam cleaning is approximately 4 – 6 hours. However, drying times may vary depending on weather, ventilation, humidity, carpet type, upholstery material, cleaning depth, airflow and site conditions.
Customers are responsible for allowing suitable ventilation and reasonable drying time after service.
Customers, occupants and visitors should take care around recently cleaned or wet areas, including carpets, upholstery, tiles, hard floors, entryways and surrounding surfaces. Some moisture, dampness or slippery conditions may remain during and after cleaning depending on the service performed and site conditions.
Access, Furniture and Customer Preparation
Heavy, fragile, electronic, valuable, built-in or unsafe items may not be moved.
Customers are responsible for removing personal items, fragile items, valuables and obstructions from areas requiring cleaning before the service.
Beds, bed frames, bed heads, lounges, dining chairs, dining tables and other furniture will only be cleaned in accessible areas unless the customer has requested and arranged full access prior to service.
Hot Vapour Cleaning is not responsible for areas that cannot be safely accessed or were not made available at the time of service.
Where practical, customers should inspect the completed work area before we leave and raise any immediate concerns at the time of service.
Carpet, Upholstery, Mattress and Vehicle Interior Cleaning
Carpet steam cleaning, upholstery cleaning, mattress cleaning and vehicle interior cleaning results may vary depending on the condition, age, fibre type, material type, staining, odours, pet contamination, previous treatments and general maintenance history.
Some stains, odours, marks and discolouration may be permanent or may reappear after drying due to the condition of the material or underlying contamination.
Hot Vapour Cleaning cannot guarantee complete removal of all stains, odours, marks, pet contamination or discolouration.
Tile and Grout Cleaning
Tile and grout cleaning results may vary depending on the condition, age, porosity, previous sealing, chemical residues, staining, grout condition and general maintenance history.
Hot Vapour Cleaning is not responsible for pre-existing cracked tiles, loose tiles, damaged grout, worn grout, failed sealers, surface deterioration, staining below the surface, or issues caused by previous cleaning products or treatments.
Pressure Cleaning
Pressure cleaning, including concrete and hard-surface cleaning, is subject to the condition, age, strength and suitability of the surface being cleaned.
High-pressure cleaning may not remove all staining, oil marks, rust marks, mould, algae, mineral deposits or long-term discolouration.
Hot Vapour Cleaning is not responsible for pre-existing cracks, loose surfaces, flaking paint, damaged coatings, weak grout, surface deterioration, drainage issues or water movement caused by the condition or layout of the area.
Customers, occupants and visitors should take care around wet areas after pressure cleaning, as surfaces may remain slippery during and after service.
Vinyl Floor Cleaning, Scrubbing and Polishing
Vinyl floor cleaning, scrubbing and polishing services are provided for commercial clients only and are subject to site inspection, floor condition, coating condition, previous maintenance history and suitability of the surface.
Results may vary depending on the age and condition of the vinyl, previous coatings, worn areas, scratches, staining, chemical damage, maintenance history and the condition of any existing polish or sealer.
Hot Vapour Cleaning is not responsible for pre-existing damage, worn coatings, deep scratches, permanent staining, failed polish, previous poor maintenance, or surfaces unsuitable for scrubbing or polishing.
Window Cleaning
Window cleaning is limited to inside and outside window cleaning up to two storeys and reachable areas only, using traditional window cleaning methods and/or our professional water-fed window cleaning system where suitable.
Hot Vapour Cleaning may decline any window cleaning work considered unsafe, inaccessible, unsuitable, or requiring specialised height-access equipment.
Window cleaning results may vary depending on the condition of the glass, frames, tracks, flyscreens, mineral deposits, hard water staining, paint marks, silicone, scratches, oxidation, construction residue or previous damage.
Hot Vapour Cleaning is not responsible for pre-existing scratches, damaged glass, damaged frames, brittle flyscreens, old seals, broken clips, loose fittings, hard water staining, mineral deposits or marks that cannot be removed through standard window cleaning methods.
Office Cleaning, Body Corporate Cleaning and Commercial Services
Service schedules for regular office cleaning, body corporate cleaning and commercial services may vary due to public holidays, site access, weather conditions, safety requirements, building management instructions, contractor access restrictions or operational requirements.
Customers and site representatives are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the property, including keys, fobs, access codes, parking access, water access and any required site instructions.
Hot Vapour Cleaning is not responsible for incomplete service where access was not provided, areas were locked, areas were unsafe, or work could not reasonably be carried out due to site conditions outside our control.
Safety and Site Conditions
Hot Vapour Cleaning may decline, stop or reschedule work if the site is considered unsafe, unsuitable, inaccessible, or outside the agreed scope of work.
This may include unsafe access, electrical hazards, excessive clutter, aggressive animals, biological hazards, unsafe flooring, poor lighting, restricted access, weather conditions, or any other condition that may create unreasonable risk.
